Meet Romwe

I discovered Chinese fast fashion clothing site Romwe a few weeks ago while shopping for work. What struck me at first was (obviously) the prices.They seem to knock-off a lot of Free People and brands from Revolve and price them anywhere from $11-$25. The descriptions are terrible- they label almost all of the fabric content as polyester even when it's cotton or rayon, but I thought it worth a try and ordered a few things. The results? Pretty great! I ordered the denim and white dresses below and think were a great deal for the price. The fabric is surprisingly nice and I got a ton of complements. Look, these aren't investment pieces. But if you're like me and like to have some not-too-precious casual items for summer weekends and work days (ie things you don't mind sweating in and sitting on the subway in), you can find some good deals here. This or That?

Trolling in the juniors section on tjmaxx.com recently, I saw a few familiar faces from Urban Outfitters. Yes, these items are from last year, but one of them I actually missed out on during their big summer sale back in July. They're still on trend, still right, and yes I still want them. It's interesting to see the Urban styling vs. the TJMaxx styling (or lack there of). The garments are almost unrecognizable between the two sites. Below the Urban Outfitters' versions. Do the Slide

Love it or hate it, the Birkenstock/shower shoe trend is here to stay for another season. The One

If you read any magazines, I'm sure you know by now that fringe is the biggest trend for summer 2015 and beyond. Accordingly, there's a huge array of fringed handbags on the market and naturally, I want one. I bought this guy last year and it was just too heavy metal for me for every day wear. Other styles just seem too much like a hippie costume. The perfect bag (for the perfect price) has eluded me.

Until now! Other Stories has been killing it in the accessories department this season. Their sandals, jewelry, and hats are just right.

My favorite is this pared-down take on the fringed bag. It will go with everything and is the perfect size for my wallet and MetroCard. While it's not on sale (yet), I really think this will go the distance this summer. Also available in the most perfect orange-red.
